CSR expands sales of Better Brown Low GI Sugar to Singapore

Leading SE Asia sugar manufacturer, CSR, has now expanded distribution of Better Brown, Low GI Sugar, into the Singapore market. It has been launched in a leading chain of convenience stores Hoa Mart with 44 outlets across the island.

This is the first time consumers in Singapore have had retail access to Better Brown. It has never been more important to support families in healthier home cooking and baking and Singapore is no exception. Better Brown is produced in collaboration with Nucane technology to naturally reduce metabolism and uptake of sugar in foods and beverages. In Malaysia, it also has the support and endorsement of NADI, the Malaysia Diabetes Association and in Singapore it has been independently tested to be Low GI by the Temasek Glycemic Index Research Unit using the ISO 26642:2010 methodology. .
